Bronny James will be Adam Silver’s ‘financial’ weapon for the G-League, says Adrian Wojnarowski

Bronny James’ Draft Combine exhibition was super intense! In recent days, LeBron James’ eldest son has made a lot of waves in the NBA world. Amid criticism of nepotism and poor academic performance, he received medical clearance to play in the big league. Tonight, the all-NBA teams got their first look at the 19-year-old’s ball action at the Combine. And Adrian Wojnarowski predicts that Bronny will be a boost to the league, both on the basketball and business sides.

Report from the Draft Combine in Chicago, ESPN the veteran said, “Bronny James is going to impact organizations, not only on the basketball side, but potentially on the business side. He will almost assuredly start in the G League. He will pack G League arenas and merchandising. All this makes him an attractive player. His opportunity to play in the NBA is therefore there. While he may not be a top pick in the draft, many are now certain that he would find a home in the NBA.

The G League has been the breeding ground for NBA franchises to build their future stars. Although the league already has its own following, Wojnarowski felt the inclusion of Bronny James could further boost its business. This not only makes James Jr. a rising star, but also serves the cause of Adam Silver, who is currently busy sorting out the media rights deal.

The 19-year-old has already reduced his NIL valuation after his poor first year. It fell to $3.7 million. Notably, he had little time to prepare for the season as he suffered a cardiac arrest. Despite this, he made a comeback. Unfortunately, this did not prove good for him as he finished the season averaging 4.8 points with 2.1 assists per game, coming off the bench.

Nevertheless, the rising star passed his medical exam again for the Draft Combine and showed his talent. Although his NIL value has dropped, Woj’s latest statement could bring him back into the industry again.

In addition to this, he also stated that King James would also see himself playing in the league for at least two more seasons.

On the other hand, Stephen A. Smith’s brutal monologue after Darvin Ham’s firing came true. Following the latest update, Smith continued his show and blamed James for the decision. Besides, he didn’t stop there. He also said, “He (LeBron James) will get his three year extension, he’ll get his money… If he wants it, they’ll get Bronny, no one else could.
