Akin Continues Growth of Energy Practice with Addition of Trent Bridges in Houston

(Houston) – Akin is pleased to announce that Trent Bridges, Energy Transactions Partner, has joined the firm’s Houston office. He joins the firm from Sidley Austin and was previously Vice President and Deputy General Counsel of Magellan Midstream Partners, LP.

Bridges represents clients in a range of energy transactions, infrastructure development projects and investments, with a particular focus on the midstream industry. He has extensive experience advising on acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, new projects and investments across the oil and gas value chain. He also represents clients advancing the energy transition, including infrastructure projects and investments related to sustainable fuels, carbon capture, net-zero targets and hydrogen.
